Song der Woche 21/2015 - I like the ghouls come out to play
Heute hat es mir Florence + The Machine wieder einmal angetan, genauer gesagt ihr Song ,Shake It Out'.
Florence finde ich bereits seit ihrem Cover ,You've Got The Love' super. Dabei stört mich manchmal, dass sie nicht singt, sondern schreit, aber auf der anderen Seite, sind ihre Songs total schön und haben einen Gute-Laune- und Push-Charakter, fast wie die Songs von Rosenstolz.
Ihre Power-Songs geben Kraft und machen Mut, und deswegen finde ich sie einfach gut.
Darüber hinaus ist sie die Sängerin unserer Zeit, mit dem meisten künsterlischen Anspruch. In ihr komplettes Artwork aus Szenerie, Kostüm und Styling legt sie viel wert und setzt damit Trends. Teilweise finden sich im Internet ganze Herrscharen, die sich an ihre Looks anlegen und dadurch hat sie sich mittlerweile zur Marke entwickelt.
Toll, wie die 28 jährige das macht, deren Mutter sie immer noch zu einem Literaturstudium bewegen will. Bitte nicht, denn ich will noch viel mehr von ihr hören!
Sie tritt die Nachfolge unserer Heldinnen wie Annie Lennox, Kate Bush oder Tori Amos, an und macht Musik mit Kopf und Herz.
Musikalisch zähle ich sie nunmehr zu einem meiner Vorbilder, außerdem finde ich ihre rote Mähne toll.
,Shake It Out' startet direkt mit einem Gänsehaut-Moment, wenn das Orchester erwacht und die Stimme von Florence warm wird.

Wie ein Befreiungsschlag mutet der Refrain an, der einen Schwall Endorphine in einem ausschüttet.

Nach dieser Sequenz weiß man genau was ich meine, Florence ist eigentlich schrecklich übersteuert, dass die Worte kaum noch hörbar sind, aber genau das ist es, was einem ein gutes Gefühl gibt. Das Gefühl von Stärke und Mut, und von daher ist es auch wieder genau richtig. Trotzdem kann vermutlich nicht jedes Ohr hierzu direkt einen Zugang finden.
