Song der Woche 24/2015 - Smooth Songs
Und dies ist der Song, der es mir diese Woche so richtig angetan hat. Ein Song, der in meinem Leben schon so einiges an Geschichte hinterlassen hat.

Es war Sommer 1999, als dieser Song heraus kam, und ich hatte mich sofort in der Salsa-Rhythmus und die Stimme von Rob Thomas (Sänger von Matchbox 20 - wie Nickleback nur wirklich gut.) verliebt.
Auch wenn der Song total an Tom Waits angelegt ist, oder gerade eben deswegen.
Egal, der Sound ist mega, versetzt einen, durch seinen ,Buena Vista'-Klang, sofort in eine Kneipe in Havanna, an einem lauen Sommertag. Die Hüften gehen nach den ersten Takten automatisch mit und Santana setzt mit der Gitarre genau die richtigen Akzente.

Seitdem ist es mein Lieblingssong im Sommer, jedes Jahr. Er regt zum tanzen an, er regt zur guten Laune an und er macht sich gut, in jedem Moment.

Dann kam 2003 der Film ,Tatsächlich...Liebe' in die Kinos. Die, die mich kennen wissen, mein Lieblingsfilm seitdem.
Als Colin in Wisconsin in die Kneipe kommt, spielt dieser Song im Hintergrund.
Ich muss jetzt hier nicht erläutern, warum ich den Soundtrack dieses Filmes feier, oder? Ich tue es nämlich.
Da dieser Song dazu gehört, wird er gehypt. Aber trotzdem ist und bleibt es ein toller Song.
Und ehrlich gesagt, klang Rob Thomas' Stimme nie besser als in diesem Track.
