The Grand Final Line Up Is Complete! Eurovision Song Contest Second Semi-Final

The Eurovision Song Contest's Grand Final Line Up Is Complete

10 more countries qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final
A further 10 acts have confirmed their place in the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final line-up this evening by qualifying from the second Semi-Final.
After the crowd in Kyiv were treated to 18 more exhilarating performances, and even a marriage proposal, it was announced that the following countries will join the Big Five, Ukraine, and the first Semi-Final's successfully qualified countries (listed in alphabetical order):

Austria: Nathan Trent – Running On Air
Belarus: Naviband - Story of My Life
Bulgaria: Kristian Kostov - Beautiful Mess
Croatia: Jacques Houdek - My Friend
Denmark: Anja – Where I Am
Hungary: Joci Pápai – Origo
Israel: IMRI - I Feel Alive

Bulgaria's Kristian Kostov is this year's youngest competitor and the first ever to have been born in the 21st Century. OG3NE, representing The Netherlands, are sisters and their song was written by their father.

These 10 finalists will take part in a press conference later this evening, where it will be revealed whether they perform in the first or the second half of the Grand Final through a draw.

Sadly, the Eurovision journey ends for eight countries as they did not qualify for the Final. In alphabetical order, the acts who did not make it through were:
  1. Estonia: Koit Toome & Laura - Verona
  2. F. Y. R. Macedonia: Jana Burčeska – Dance Alone
  3. Ireland: Brendan Murray – Dying to Try
  4. Lithuania: Fusedmarc - Rain of Revolution

  6. San Marino: Valentina Monetta and Jimmie Wilson – Spirit of the Night

  8. Switzerland: Timebelle - Apollo
F.Y.R. Macedonia's singer Jana was proposed to live in the green room by her fiancé as the votes were being counted, and she said yes. She had earlier in the show revealed that she is pregnant.
Countries were awarded scores based on points awarded by national Expert Juries and televoting. These points were then combined to reveal an overall score for each act that determined the final outcome.

The Expert Juries voted last night on yesterday's Semi-Final 2 Jury Show; a non-broadcast, live feed of the performances in a dry-run. Televoting took place tonight during the transmission of the live show.
