Song der Woche 4/2018 - I See Fire... I hope that your remember me

Der Song der Woche gehört zu einem Double-Feature mit nächster Woche, weil die beiden Songs seit ein paar Tagen für mich untrennbar zusammen gehören. 

Immer noch treibe ich im Weihnachtsmodus daher, beziehungsweise in den Nachwehen der Filme, die ich mir über die Feiertage gegeben habe. Denn an Weihnachten gibt es bei mir neben "Stirb Langsam" und "Leon - Der Profi" traditionell auch die "Herr der Ringe"-Reihe zu gucken. 
Ganz nebenbei natürlich "Stirb Langsam" an Heilig Abend, 1. Weihnachtstag, 2.Weihnachtstag und danach. Und "Der Herr der Ringe" wird danach an Heilig Abend durchgeguckt. 
Weihnachten ist Ringzeit. 

Dank Peter Jackson gibt es dann in der Nacht vom 1. Weihnachtstag auf den 2. "Der Hobbit" bis ich wegschlafe. Und von Mittelerde träume. 
An manchen Weihnachten rede ich auch nur noch von Hobbits, Zwergen, Elben, Orks, und davon, einen Ring nach Mordor zu tragen, oder von Kämpfen mit Uruk Hais, mitten in Rohan.
Und spreche jeden mit "Mein Herr" an. :-)

Und ein jedes Weihnachten nimmt es mich erneut mit. 

Seit Tagen spielt deswegen auch der Soundtrack des Ring-Epos' bei mir rauf und runter. "May it Be" und "I See Fire" werden dabei zelebriert. 

Und ich hätte es anfangs nicht gedacht, aber "I See Fire" wird momentan als erstes Lied angemacht, egal wo. Zu Hause, im Auto, auf dem Kopfhörer. 

Und der gnadenlos gute Schlüpferstürmer Ed Sheeran verbannt Bryan Adams in den Keller der Schmachtsongs und Soundtracks und säuselt auf schönste Weise von Feuer und Dunkelheit, Brüderlichkeit und Freundschaft, Kampf und Tod und Vergänglichkeit.

Ich hoffe, ihr könnt auch nur Ansatzweise erahnen, was dieser Song in mir auslöst und wie ich die Lyrics im Auto laut mitsinge und feier.

Außerdem hoffe ich inständig, dass Peter Jackson alsbald "Das Silmarillion" verfilmt..... Ich will mehr aus Mittelerde......
