reflecta Presents a Quick and Low-cost Slide and Negative Scanner with a 3.5" Display

The new reflecta x10-Scan digitalizes slides and film negatives with a resolution of up to 4416 x 2944 in about 2 seconds—no computer needed. 

 

Eutingen near Stuttgart, September 2018 – Countless Slides and Film Negatives from bygone days are stored in basements or attics, not quite being used anymore. In what way could a Photophile revive these old treasures to life again?
The Southern German specialist for image digitalization, reflecta GmbH, has been offering efficient solutions with its successful "x-Scan" series. They are now presenting their newest model of this series: the “x10 Scan“.

With the use of high performance 14 megapixel image sensors, the reflecta x10-Scan delivers an exceptional scan quality with a resolution of 4416x2944 pixels. The high quality CMOS sensor allows an extremely fast scan speed of less than 2 seconds per slide or film negative.

As soon as framed slides or film negative strips are inserted into the scanner with the supplied holder, they are shown right away on the 8.9 cm monitor on the scanner, and can be viewed and selected, with the negatives being shown as positives.

With a single press of a button, the pictures are saved as a JPEG file on an SD/SDHC card. The color and contrast is corrected automatically, and can be adjusted manually as well. The finished scans can also be transferred to a computer via the integrated 2.0 USB connection. Power is supplied with the included adaptor.

The reflecta x10-Scan is a Stand-Alone Device, and can be used independently from computers and software. No computer is needed to process the scans. Thanks to the supplied TV cable, the images can also be viewed on a television.
